(I like the pattern, but it is taking forever! And looking a little strange.)

While visiting with my husband's family over Memorial weekend, Peter's cousin mentioned crocheting. I said that was one thing I hadn't been able to figure out on my own, so she pulled out some spare yarn and a crochet hook and showed me how to do it! I have since fallen in love with it. Rather than finish this blanket I have started an entirely new yellow blanket for my friend's shower in a few weeks. I had a little bit of a rough start, as you can tell, but I think the final product will be worth it!
