New Skirt
One of the fabric stores nearby was having a big Fourth of July sale, so I stopped by while I was out and stocked up on some new fabric. In addition to getting some adorable flannel for a future baby blanket, a pattern and fabric for a new skirt, and some other miscellaneous things for upcoming projects, I got some pretty satin-like fabric to try a pleated skirt.

It's not quite wearable yet, since I still need to hem it. Also, since I wasn't using a pattern, the waist needs some adjustment. It's got a pretty good gap right now, but I think it's fixable. The fabric is so soft and pretty:

Hopefully I can finish it soon and wear it to dinner or something! Maybe I need to make some turquoise jewelry to go with it!!
