Catching Up
I've started working on my blocks for the Old Red Barn quilt-along but I am definitely not close to the finished quilt top! I thought it was an appropriate project to break in my new machine. I actually ended up doing five strips instead of six - it was an accident at first but I like the way it looks. I'm hoping the cohesiveness of this quilt comes together as I finish more blocks - since these all use different fabrics I think it looks a little too random. I still have high hopes, because I do love all the fabrics!
