We had some friends visiting the past couple days and last night, after getting some BBQ takeout, I popped this pear/apple crisp in the oven. I used this recipe from Ree and it was heavenly. I substituted pears and apples for the peaches since they're not in season. The sauce tastes like candy and the crisp topping is perfect. Delicious!
