Practice Needed
I want to use free-motion quilting on my flutterby quilt, but I've never done it before so I know I need to practice first. I found these napkins in my stash that I had intended to use for throw pillows on our music room couch.

During a break from my big quilt re-do, I pinned them to some scrap fleece, dropped the feed dogs, and got to work!

My stitches are pretty uneven, I had some tension issues, and I'm still getting the hang of making a pretty pattern, but I think I'll still sew this up into a pillow cover. By the time I get the second done I might be ready to try it on my flutterby!
