So I made a necklace to match the earrings I made a couple days ago. It's a nice weight, with all the jade.



It came out about a centimeter longer than I wanted, and I'm not sure how to fix it - maybe just try to shorten up any of the loops that are too long on either side of a bead... we'll see.

In non-jewelry news, I have the valances for the kitchen about mostly done. We buy the curtain rods this morning, and have put up two of them. I still need to hem the valances - I didn't want them to be too short so I haven't hemmed them yet...

And exciting things at the sewing machine this weekend - I'm hoping to try a few new projects. Stay tuned!!
