I have a string of posts planned for the next week or two to hopefully keep the cobwebs from creeping back in around here. For now, though, I'd better get back to my pile of laundry and packing - amazing how much stuff is needed for a 3-day trip with an 8-month-old!

I am so excited to get back to work on this project planned out on my design wall. It is currently on the back burner while I hand-sew the binding on this quilt. It has to travel with me this weekend when I go to meet my new niece or nephew!

It may not look like much, but I thought this fitted crib sheet might be worth dusting off the blogger posting template! It's just so amazing to finish something these days, and by the deadline I'd set myself, too. I used this tutorial and I think it's going to work great. I would just say to be sure to sew your casing for the elastic big enough for your safety pin so you don't have to rip stitches as you're threading the elastic... Learned that one the hard way!
