Ornament Swap

As if the postcard swap and NaBloPoMo weren't enough, I just signed up for the Holiday Ornament Swap hosted by freshly blended and cake + pie!!

I had been resisting this swap because I didn't want to overload myself, what with trying to make some Christmas presents and post more and make postcards... But then I had an idea for an ornament, plus I kept seeing links to this swap all over the place, and I couldn't handle it any longer! Crossing my fingers I didn't just get in over my head...

Kick in the Pants

I just signed up for Fussy's National Blog Posting Month.

This means I have to post everyday in November. Every day!! That's a big step up from my three-times-a-month posting I've slipped into lately. Between this and the postcard swap, I'm hoping I will be able to cure my blog malaise. So! Check back here starting next Wednesday to watch me post like crazy! Or fail miserably! Who knows!!

(We'll also just ignore the fact that I'm going to be out of the country for 9 days at Thanksgiving... Anyone know how to get Blogger to post on a schedule??)

Postcard Swap

I signed up for Nikki's Christmas postcard swap! I got my list of swap partners today, and only one lives in the USA, how fun. The rest are from all over - Australia, Japan, England... I hope I get several international cards, too!

My last postcard swap went so well, and I am already so excited! Can you believe it's getting to be time for Christmas already??

Lucky Thursday

Thursday sure seems to be my lucky day for posting lately! As I've seen various other places around the blogosphere, I am in a bit of a posting funk. My crafting, and posting, seem directly proportional to how busy I am at my "real" job - I've been very busy at work lately, and I am lucky to get some crafting done at night, much less take pictures and write posts...

For example, I made a bracelet for my sister-in-law back in September, took pictures, and never posted them! I saw some awesome silver links on Fusion Beads that just looked like her, so I made this:

It has a magnetic clasp, with a little chain so the bracelet doesn't fall off if the clasp comes undone. I quite like it!

I have a few other works in progress, but for the most part I am enjoying relaxing, organizing my new room, and crawling the web for inspiration for when I get my groove back...
